The new daughter

Storyline:
James (Kevin Costner) is a succesful novelist who has been divorced recently. He decide to move to a very remote house in South Carolina with his son Sam (Gattlin Griffin) and her daughter Louisa (Ivanna Baquero), a young girl who isn't happy with the idea of living far of the city.

Soon, the family start to hear some strange noises during the night. They seems to be related with an old funeral tumulus placed in the limits of their property. Louisa is feeling more and more attracted with the tumulus, this fact coincides with a personal change in her. She has becoming a different person.








NOTES:
Luis Alejandro Berdejo is a Spanish director who has just made one's debut in the full-length films. His filmography is reduced in some good valorated shorts. He has colaborated in other scripts as Rec or Imago Mortis. Luis has achieved one of his dreams: to make one's debut in a full-lenght-film with Kevin Costner like one of the main characters. Samantha Mathis and the spanish actress Ivana Baquero (El laberinto del fauno) appear in The new daughter too.
